Base Position Qualifications
Degree with a major in Accounting or other related subject preferred
Sufficient accounting work experience
Ability to perform basic and higher mathematical calculations
Proficient computer skills, including data entry, MS Office Word, MS Excel spreadsheets, and MS Outlook
Proficient use of a desk calculator
Good verbal and written communication skills

Position Responsibilities
Responsible for performing multiple accounting department functions with parameters set by others.
Organized, detail-oriented, trustworthy, respectful, cooperative and a team player
Polite and cheerful with co-workers, consultants and clients
Work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, complete tasks and meets deadlines with accuracy and completeness
Perform a variety of accounting functions and receptive to new tasks
Communicate effectively with clients and consultants
Communicate effectively with project managers, supervisors and co-workers, while maintaining confidentiality
Process and maintain accounts payable and ensure that general overhead invoices are accurately posted and monitor for payment
Process and maintain accounts payable and ensure that consultant invoices and project-related expenses are accurately recorded and posted to the correct projects
Maintain consultant log book, accurately recording the receipt of all consultant invoices to be given to billing managers for approval
Set up client projects in the system, including the labor/consultant project budget and detail scope of service
Cut checks for consultants and miscellaneous overhead
Prepare and manage client billings
Maintain W-9’s and process 1099’s at year end
Photo copy and file accounts payable invoices
Attend any training or staff meetings as requested
Perform accounting related tasks as requested

Working conditions will be in a standard office environment. Occasional travel may be required for performing non-intrusive building site observation and client meetings where overnight stay may be required
